The Forty-Day Commemoration ceremonies of the late Peshraw Dizayi and Jina Dizayi took place on Saturday, February 24, 2024. The ceremonies began with a minute of silence and the national anthems of Iraq and Kurdistan, along with recitation of verses from the Quran. Subsequently, speeches were delivered by family members and the Kurdistan Regional Government, followed by readings of poetry and musical performances in the "Hayran" style and the use of Kurdish cultural drums.
